A Word From Our Executive Director
We are a vibrant community, steeped in history and beauty, and it is easy to see why Charleston has prospered during its long history. Yet, while many have thrived, many have not, leaving our friends and neighbors behind, to make difficult decisions regarding paying for rising rents or paying for other necessities like food and healthcare.
The bottom line is far too many people struggle with homelessness and accessing critical housing resources. Fortunately, the Hope Center is making a dramatic impact on our community, but we need your help to continue to grow our full range of services, that promote stability and self-sufficiency, in a single, convenient location. So I please ask that you join us as we continue our commitment to care for the least among us, because we believe everyone deserves hope.
